Experience the beauty of fall at Milner Gardens & Woodland during the second annual Scarecrow Spectacular – a fun-filled family event.
“We were thrilled with the incredible response to last year’s inaugural Scarecrow Spectacular and with the level of creativity our participating sponsors brought forward,” said Geoff Ball, Executive Director of Milner Gardens & Woodland. “I am very excited to see the garden filled again with a fresh collection of wonderful and fun scarecrows this year for our community to enjoy.”
Scarecrow Spectacular invites visitors to dress up in family-friendly costumes and wander through scarecrow lane to admire and vote for their favourite scarecrow creations. While checking out the scarecrows people can also enjoy a menu of harvest-themed foods available at the outdoor food service station near Milner House.
The Scarecrow Spectacular runs from October 25 to 27 from 11 am to 3 pm, with viewing until 3:30 pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for youth. Children, Milner Garden’s members and VIU students (with VIU student ID) are admitted for free. Accessible parking stalls are available in the general parking lot and shuttle services are available.
